for me, i am building it to be a fun fast, but still daily driver street car, so for me pump is the tune for me. Sure i'll take it to the track...rarely though, and far from the avid track racers here that go often. But after reading what you justy posted, I can totally now see why some only do race gas tuning, since that is the ONLY time you really care what your power is.
